Join us on Wednesday the 4th of July.  We will be in Harrisburg at the Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration.You will find us in the Marketplace from 10:00am to 6pm.

Join us Saturday June 23rd from 10:00am to 5:00pm at the Trinity United Methodist Church located at 440 Maxwell Rd in Eugene.  There will be 14 vendors. Some of the vendors include Monkey Bugs Children's Resale, Tupperware & Scentsy.

Upcoming events include the Harrisburg 4th of July celebration and Willamette Valley Brews & Brews the first weekend in August.

Come and join us Saturday May 19th at the Cottage Grove Home Show and Crafters Showcase, 9:0am- 8pm. Free entertainment, food, Native American Pow Wow, breakfast, lunch, BBQ dinner and live entertainement.  The event is being held at Cottage Grove High School.

These bracelets are being sold to benefit the Ashlie Chrowl Supplemental Needs Fund.  Ashlie at the age of 24 suffered a severe stroke due to a blood clot in her brain, nearly costing her life.  The stroke has left Ashlie partially paralyzed and unable to work, at 25 she is a determined fighter.  The bracelets are $20 each with $10 of every bracelet sold going to Ashlie's fund.  I will have them available at the Roaring Rapids Pizza benefit on May 16th.  If you are unable to attend you may contact me at sharon.sparklesjd@gmail.com. The bracelets have either a green awareness ribbon (the ribbon color for traumatic brain injury) or an angel.

Saturday May 19th at the Cottage Grove High School Crafters Showcase from 9am to 8pm. The show is being done in conjunction with KNND's Cottage Grove Home & Garden Show.  There will also be a native American pow wow, breakfast, lunch & BBQ dinner.  Live entertainment, demonstrations & door prizes.

Friday August 3rd and Saturday August 4th at the Willamette Valley Blues & Brews Festival.  100% of the funds raised by this event, after expenses, go to support Springfield/Eugene Habitat for Humanity's mission of building simple, affordable, decent homes in partnership with people in need.  This is a wonderful event with unbelievable entertainment.  Visit www.wvbbf.org  for more information on the festival.

The bracelets to the left are made with the purple awareness ribbon for Alzheimer's.  I made these bracelets to honor my Mom and her sister, both of whom suffered different forms of dementia and passed away last summer.  The bracelets are $20 each with $10 of each bracelet donated to the Alzheimer's Association of Oregon.





 

The bracelets are made with amethyst, Swarvoski Pearls, Czech fire-polished glass or crystals in various lengths.

The bracelet to the right is made with amethyst beads.

The black onyx necklace to the left will be available for purchase at the bazaar. As will the pearl necklace to the right.

Here we have a true turquoise necklace. Turquoise was one of the first gems to be mined.  It is often recovered as a byproduct of large scare copper mining, especially in the United States.

Above we have a white magnesite necklace.  White magnesite is often referred to as white turquoise.  Magnesite is said to have a calming and relaxing effect.  It brings resilicence and patience as well as promoting a positive attitude towards life.

This double strand necklace is made using unakite and mahogany obsidian.

The necklace on the right is made of a natural gemstone, tiger's eye.  Tiger's eye is a golden to red-brown color with a silky luster and is a member of the quartz family.

This necklace is made using magnesite and goldstone.  Magnesite is often mistaken for turquoise.
